Our goal was to the medical research that was being conducted over the national hospital system, Providence; it has some of the biggest research infrastructure in the country, but it can be difficult to communicate that over the many departments.
I took inspiration for the 12x12 grid layout from magazines, given that the content included both short and long articles. A challenge I overcame during the project was when we switched from print to PDF-only- I decided to optimize for single-page viewing.
